Position Statements
There has already been a high level of preliminary consultation conducted through the two Councils’ respective Core Strategy processes and also through the joint working undertaken to date, including early engagement on the JAAP. As part of this work, the two Councils have compiled the representations made at any stage to either Horsham District or Crawley Borough Councils’ Core Strategies by key stakeholders, supplemented by any general correspondence relating specifically to the Strategic Development Location West and North West of Crawley into a number of Position Statements.
These statements outline the position of various relevant (both statutory and non-statutory) bodies and organisations, specifically relating to this strategic development location. The Position Statements identify the practical requirements of these key stakeholders to facilitate a sustainable large scale development.
