Adoption

 

The Councils received the Inspector’s Report into the West of Bewbush Joint Area Action Plan (JAAP) DPD from the Planning Inspectorate on 9 April 2009.

 

The Inspector’s conclusions were reported to Horsham District Council’s full Council on 18 May 2009 with a recommendation to adopt the JAAP, incorporating the Inspector’s binding changes with effect from the 31 July 2009. The same recommendation was considered by Crawley Borough Council’s full Council on 22 July 2009.

 

Following the resolutions from both Councils the JAAP was adopted and published on 31 July. Details of where hard copies can be viewed are set out in the JAAP Adoption Statement.

 

A Sustainability Appraisal and Strategic Environmental Assessment (SA/SEA) and a Non Technical Summary of the SA/SEA accompany the JAAP. Further details are set out in the SA/SEA Adoption Statement.
