Alternative Development Sites & Boundary Changes Document
This Alternative Development Sites & Boundary Changes Document sets out the sites proposed by other parties as suitable for development, as well as suggested boundary changes put forward to the Councils during the representation period for the West of Bewbush Submission Joint Area Action Plan (JAAP). The Document is required to be prepared as soon as possible after the close of the West of Bewbush Submission JAAP representation period.
The Councils, through the Alternative Development Sites & Boundary Changes Document, are required to advise that alternative and/or additional sites have been put forward to the Councils by respondents during the Submission representation period. The sites and boundary changes contained within the Alternative Development Sites & Boundary Changes Document have been proposed by other parties. They are not changes that are being suggested by the Councils.
The Councils published the Alternative Development Sites & Boundary Changes Document for a statutory six week period of consultation which ended on Friday 3 October 2008.
Representations received during this consultation period will be considered by the independent Planning Inspector, who will be assessing the ‘Soundness’ of the West of Bewbush Submission JAAP at Examination in Public, to be held early next year. The Councils will not decide whether to include any of the proposed changes within the final West of Bewbush JAAP document; it will be for the Independent Planning Inspector to make those decisions. The Planning Inspector’s decision will be binding on both Councils.
