West and North West of Crawley

 

The West of Bewbush Joint Area Action Plan, which allocates the Land West of Bewbush for 2,500 homes and other uses, was adopted by both Horsham District and Crawley Borough Councils in July 2009.

 

During the last few months officers at both Councils have been meeting with Crest Nicholson and other key stakeholders to progress the delivery of the site via a comprehensive masterplan and establish key design parameters which will form the basis of the ongoing neighbourhood masterplan/design work.

 

As part of the ongoing master planning process, Crest Nicholson will be holding an exhibition on 9 and 10 October to provide an opportunity for the public to view and comment on the emerging plans. This will be an independent exhibition by the developers who will be seeking feedback from the public, local Members and other interest groups on the plans/ideas on display. The feedback will inform the master planning process and will be the first opportunity to comment on the emerging form of the new neighbourhood.
